RCD Tripping?
Sophie was in the middle of cooking dinner when suddenly all the power in her kitchen shut off.
She went to the fuse box and saw that the RCD had tripped. She tried resetting it, but it kept tripping again every time she turned the power back on.
Sophie was frustrated because she didn't know what was causing the problem and she didn't want to be without power in her kitchen for long.
To try and fix the issue herself, Sophie unplugged all the appliances in her kitchen and tried resetting the RCD again. This time, it stayed on, but as soon as she plugged one of her appliances back in, the RCD tripped again.
She repeated this process with each appliance until she found the one that was causing the problem.
Sophie discovered that her toaster was faulty and was causing the RCD to trip. She unplugged the toaster and reset the RCD, which stayed on this time.
